Rules and Policies

Welcome to Chokoloskee Island Park. We hope you have a pleasant visit! The following rules and policies have been established with your comfort and that of your neighbors in mind.

1. Keep campsites clean. All garbage must be bagged and deposited in the dumpster. No garbage may be left in the area around the dumpster or anywhere on your campsite.

2. Quiet please from 10 pm to 8 am. Excessive noise and loud parties will not be permitted. Tenters should pay special attention to the ease by which voices and music carry over to RVs and other tenters. Please respect your neighbors and minimize noise especially during quiet time. Keep radios, audio devices, and TVs down at all times.

3. The person registering is held responsible for his party's socially acceptable conduct and proper clothing at all times. Drunkenness, profanity, or immoral conduct will not be tolerated.

4. No open fires allowed. Fires must be attended in charcoal grills or metal fireplaces.

5. Please do not cut across your neighbor's yard or lot, whether occupied or vacant.

6. Parents are responsible for the activities, conduct, and safety of their children.

7. Pets must be on a leash while outside. A dog-walk is provided along the boat ramp. You are expected to clean up after your pet. Please control your dog's barking. No Doberman, Rotweiller, Pit Bull, Chow or any mix thereof are allowed.

8. Sewer hook-ups must be properly connected using a rubber seal (available for sale in the office if you don't have one). Do not dispose of grease, plastic, and sanitary napkins in the sewer.

9. Motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, minibikes, and related vehicles may be used only for leaving or entering the campground.

10. Checkout time is 11 am.

11. No electric heaters.
